Seit ca. 14 Tagen bin ich stolzer Besitzer eines Kindle. Seit ich ihn bei einen anderen Hotelgast in unserem Urlaub sehen, anfassen und ausprobieren durfte, war es mir klar, dass Ding muss ich haben. Und nun kurz nach Weihnachten war es dann auch soweit. Ich habe ihn nun endlich, und ich muss sagen WOW. Mit der Zeit vergisst man, dass man auf einen Bildschirm starrt. Das Bild ist so klar, dass man meint man hält ein Blatt Papier in der Hand. Ermüdungserscheinungen, was ist das! Und dann wiegt das Ding gefühlte 50 gramm.
Whispernet ist einfach toll, überall wo man ist kann man neuen Schmökerstoff runterladen und hat ihn in Sekundenschnelle auf dem Kindle. Leider ist dass Angebot an Tageszeitungen und Magazinen noch etwas dürftig, aber wahrscheinlich fehlt einfach noch die Käuferbasis in Deutschland.
Das erste Buch das dann meinen Kindle besuchen durfte war:
Wirklich lustig mit netten Anekdoten eines Leben in der IT. An manchen Stellen konnte ich mich sogar ein bisschen wiedererkennen, von wegen, nach dem Aufstehen erst mal Emails checken und Besprechungseinladungen annehmen (Sorry Maus).
Von mir eine eindeutige Kaufempfehlung. Hier wird IT auch für Erzieherinnen erklärt und das ist wirklich nicht soooo IT lastig.
So wieder zurück zum Kindle. Neben Ebook-Reader ist es auch zum Kochbuch verkommen. Ich suche ein Rezept im Internet mit dem Kindle und koche mit ihm nebendran. Perfekt. Und nach 2 Wochen Einsatz ist die Batterie er zu 1/5 leer.
Das war die beste Investition seit langem, an der ich sicher noch einige Freude haben werde.
For about 14 days I am now proud owner of a Kindle. Since I could test him I my last holidays, I know, I must have one. And now short after Christmas, the kindle is here and I must simply say WOW. After a short term reading with the kindle you forget that you are starring at a display. The picture is so clear and bright that you think you hold a piece of paper and not an eBook reader. Especially because it weights only 50 Gramm.
Whispernet is amazing, loading everywhere and every time new books down is simply great.
Only that the range of magazines and newspaper could be more. But I think that the basis in Germany is too small for now. I think it will grow steady.
The first book, which was allowed to visit my Kindle, was
It´s really funny with little stories of a life in the IT. At some points in the book I could identify me. For example after wake up first check Emails and accept meetings (Sorry wife).
It´s a must read book. And IT is explained that even nursery nurse could understand it.
So back to my kindle. It´s not only an eBook reader it´s a Cookbook. I will find a receipt in the Internet and cook while the kindle is lie next to me. Perfect. And after 2 weeks of work the battery is only about 20 percent down. The best investment for a long time.
